Help Curt and Shonda Schilling "Strike Out" ALS by Visiting Your Local Shaw's or Star Market!

From July 10th through July 31st, "Pitch'n to Win" the fight against ALS by donating $1.38 or $3.38 at checkout

Once again Shaw’s Supermarkets has joined the fight against ALS!  Shaw’s, Star Market and Osco Pharmacy are partnering with Curt and Shonda Schilling, along with The ALS Association’s New England Chapters for the third consecutive year to re-launch the “Pitch’n to Win” campaign.

The partnership will kick off on July 10th at all 200-plus Shaw’s and Star Market stores across New England.  As part of the campaign, customers will be asked to contribute $1.38 or $3.38 at checkout to support “Curt’s Pitch for ALS” - the program that Pitcher Curt Schilling, Number 38 of the Boston Red Sox, and his wife, Shonda developed in 1993 to fund ALS research and patient care.  In appreciation of each donation, customers will receive a “STRIKE” paper baseball for $1.38 or an “OUT” paper baseball for $3.38.  Donors can write their names on the paper baseballs, which will then be displayed throughout the supermarket.

Be sure to visit your local Shaw’s or Star Market between July 10th and July 31st and help strike out ALS!
